Hi,
Elevate your X's and O's game from scrap paper to sea stones with this sophisticated handmade set. In our version, play continues by moving the stones until there's a winner, bringing a fresh element of strategy and fun to a timeless game. It's a good old-fashioned duel that gets your eyes off the screen, and becomes an elegant decor element when not in play. Handmade by Arra David and Anne Johnson in Windham, New Hampshire.
Due to the recycled and handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

“Inspiration ambushes me anytime, anywhere, and I welcome it.”
Arra David and Anne Johnson want everyone to get stones. So the longtime New England residents replace each smooth rock they harvest from the water with a rough one from a quarry that will eventually become a worn beauty in its own right. (All the wood they use in their designs is ethically forested, too.) Once their bounty is gathered, they sit down with a group of dedicated artisans they lovingly call "rockers" to handcraft their uniquely beautiful household items and barware. "We all work together as a closely knit family," says Arra. "We all put our hearts, brains, muscles, and fingertips into everything we build."
We took a road trip to visit Anne and Arra in New Hampshire, where they welcomed us with hard cider and put us straight to work. See the whole story on our blog.

Comments about UncommonGoods Tria Tic Tac Toe Game:
I bought to play with my nieces & nephews and after trying it out realized you cant play tic tac toe with only 3 stones each so this wasn't really meant for play, this is decoration only which is a bummer because I liked the idea. Now I gotta figure out how to make more stones to make the darn thing useful.

Merchant response:Each player actually has 3 stones, so you don't fill the grid and end the game like the pencil version. Instead, you keep alternating turns, and moving the stones to the empty places until someone wins. No stalemates. Nice advantage. No predictable winning. Nicer advantage!
