Native New Yorker turned Californian Giillian Reynolds was born into the food world, hailing from three generations of chefs and food retailers. A serious traveler, she was in Brazil when she first realized not all fruit was created equal. The fruits she tasted from small, local, Brazilian farms exploded with complex flavors and rich, luxurious textures. She returned to San Francisco determined to find the same intensity of flavor at small Northern California farms—and she did. She started making artisanal jams to share these exquisite fruits with friends and family back home in New York City.
