Petal To The Metal

How does your garden grow? Inspired by the old wives' tale about burying pennies for a fruitful (and slug free!) garden, this set of artfully askew garden stakes by Fred Conlon are made from recycled steel and upcycled pennies. The steel design weathers over time. Simply "plant" in your garden or backyard and enjoy an industrially botanical tableau--an eye-catching example of money finally growing on trees. No longevity

I bought these a couple years ago. They look absolutely horrid now. Just rusted and pitted blobs. I'm throwing them away.

Beautiful addition to our garden!

We have a cool, eclectic garden art collection and these fit in nicely. They are the perfect size to decorate a large pot in the back or front yard. I love the special meaning behind pennies in the garden and that it came in a set of three.

Doesn't look nearly as nice after a few months

I saw in the reviews that these need clear coated if you don't want them to rust because they're "natural". We did this but it didn't last long. They now look really terrible all rusty. This was a gift for my wife and she's a bit disappointed. Pennies have a specific nostalgic meaning in her family, and this seemed like the perfect gift.

Nice, good size

I was worried that they would be too small based on the comments. They're a little bigger than I thought, but still better suited for a potted plant than perhaps a flower bed. Read the notes with them, it mentions that the metal is natural so it will rust unless you clear coat them.

Smaller than antucupat

Slight delay in delivery,,,,,out of stock apparently, but arrived for birthday.

Lucky Penny

My mom has everything and is very hard to buy for. These are a great addition to her garden collection!

Darling in pots

Cute, subtle

Cute, clever, well-crafted, unique trio of flowers. These provide a low-key decorative element to a garden border, but because of their subtle coloring they may be more effective in a planter. That's my two cents on the subject.
