“I’m an artist who took to the streets because it was necessary”
Colette Miller is a visual artist and street performer from Richmond, Virginia. Today, she lives across the country in Los Angeles, where she is known for her street art installation the Global Angel Wings Project, a city-wide interactive work designed to remind people that they are all angels of the earth. “I’m an artist who took to the streets because it was necessary,” she says. In all she creates, Colette uses bold colors and imagery to inspire self-worth in the viewer or wearer.
