My husband always uses a knife to mix his drink then leaves it resting on the edge of the counter/sink. It drives me crazy! Now he can use it again and again without it falling into the sink!
No mayo all over the table!

I was trying to think about inventing something like this when I came across your website
Every morning, husband makes sandwiches to take to work for lunch. He usually leaves the knife on the table where he prepares the sandwiches, so he can use it the next day (after wiping/rinsing it off of course). Although this isn't a "problem," I thought it would be fun for him to have his own knife for sandwich making, and it is kinda cool the way it stands up. Also, he doesn't have to worry about finding a napkin or a plate to set it on so he doesn't get humus on the table. He makes his lunch before 6 am and before coffee, so anything that streamlines the process is appreciated. It should be noted that this isn't technically a knife, since the edges are smooth and not serrated. It really is a spreader. It might cut through soft bread, but probably not the crust.
I received this knife as a gift then decided to gift on to two of my siblings. This is an awesome invention! No more mess on the table and so easy to hold!
I put this next to my butter dish. I love that the butter on the knife doesn't mess up my tablecloth. It's so clever! Happy I found this product. I bought 3!
Love it saves the table cloth and plate chargers

I keep my knife on the counter, ready for use. I find that everyday there are times I reach for this knife, use it, quickly wash it and set up for the next time I am spreading butter, jelly, cheese or peanut butter. It saves on many knives getting piled up in the dishwasher after a single use. While being used, the standing function eliminates messes on the table or countertop. It is a great concept. I have given these as hostess gifts and have one for myself.
Glad we have one...
